If you've been to any Dang Ps shows in the past two years, you've probably heard this song as our show closer. “She Will Rise” embodies so much of The Dang Ps are all about: compelling lyrics, great harmonies, powerful vocals, an earworm chorus, an inclusive spirit, and vibes so positive you could almost burst!
The lyrics and music to “She Will Rise” were authored by Austin on his acoustic, but this song only truly came to life in collaboration, in community, with Tamiko's soaring cornet and vocals, Tim's scaling bass lines, and Dan's driving beat. Corey DeRushia's (Troubadour Studios) audio engineering and Lydia Lalonde's (@Lydia_Illustrated) art design add the finishing touches!
