Folk Alliance Region Midwest (FARM) is a regional chapter of Folk Alliance International (FAI). It's purposes are to promote traditional, contemporary and multi-cultural folk music and related performing arts in the Midwest region and hold an annual regional conference.

Basically, it's four days and three nights of performances, mentoring sessions, workshops, jam sessions, song circles, and networking with folk music professionals — artists, DJs, managers, music educators, journalists, venue hosts, marketers, etc. As Austin describes it: "It's a wicked combination of musical inspiration and sleep deprivation."

The Dangling Participles will perform at several showcases, but just how large of a stage, how long of a set, and how late into the wee hours of the night we'll be playing is all yet to be determined!
